When you submit a qualified chargeback that is eligible for Chargeback Protection or INR Protection coverage, you will receive an account credit for the full coverage amount. In the event a case is settled in the merchant’s favor (i.e. won by the merchant) by the issuing bank, NoFraud will deduct the amount we previously paid out to you from your NoFraud account balance.
How and when you will receive that credit depends on which billing plan your account is enrolled in:
Pre-Billing/Refill Merchants
Merchants enrolled in our refill/pre-billing plan will receive a chargeback credit on the morning following the case being marked as qualified by NoFraud. Thus, if the case is marked as qualified on Jan. 24, the account credit will be available to you on the morning of Jan. 25.
NoFraud will issue an account credit for the eligible chargeback amount (plus chargeback fee amount, when applicable) to your NoFraud account balance. By default, this credit will be used towards your future NoFraud usage, but a payout can be requested at any time by clicking Request Payout under your Billing tab:
You can view your itemized chargeback credits and debits (for previously credited cases that have since been won) in the NoFraud portal, in the Other History section of the Billing page. Make sure to adjust the date that, by default, is set to show 30-days of data:
Monthly Invoice Merchants
Merchants enrolled in our monthly invoicing billing plan will receive an account credit for eligible qualified chargebacks on their next monthly invoice. Thus, if a case is marked as qualified on Jan. 24, the account credit will, by default, be applied to your February invoice. You will not need to take any action in order for these account credits to be applied to your balance.
If at a later date, a case that was previously credited by NoFraud is marked as won (i.e. in the merchant's favor) you will notice a new "Chargeback Win" line item (i.e. a new charge) on your next invoice for the previously credited amount, less any associated chargeback fees
