There are some instances where NoFraud is alerted to additional risk factors after an order was already screened and Passed. In these cases, our analysts will contact you to hold the order pending additional verification and provide you with an updated decision once reviewed.
Redirecting a Fraud Order That is Still In-Transit
If the order was already shipped and it is still in transit, we may ask you to contact the carrier to retrieve the package if we ultimately determine the held order is likely fraud. If you are enrolled in our Chargeback Protection plan, NoFraud will cover any relevant interception fees in these scenarios.
Note: The purpose of this process is not only to prevent a chargeback for the specific order but also to deter the fraudster from targeting your site again. Thus, we strongly recommend intercepting the package in this case even if you aren't enrolled in Chargeback Protection.
